Terms of Service
These terms summarize the rules for using Extraktor and the Extraktor MCP server.
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Use of the service
Extraktor provides tools for extracting web context from public URLs. Users are responsible for the URLs they submit, the outputs they use, and compliance with applicable laws, third-party terms, and access restrictions.
Accounts and credentials
Users must keep account credentials, OAuth connections, and API keys secure. API keys and MCP authorizations may be revoked or rotated from the user's Extraktor workspace.
Acceptable use
Users may not use Extraktor to bypass authentication, access private systems without permission, abuse third-party services, violate legal rights, or interfere with service reliability.
Users may not use Extraktor to evade robots.txt rules, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, rate limits, IP blocks, or other technical restrictions; to collect sensitive personal data without a lawful basis; to scrape for spam, surveillance, harassment, credential harvesting, or unlawful profiling; or to infringe third-party intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights.
Customer responsibility for submitted URLs
By submitting a URL, API request, or MCP tool call, the user represents that they have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed for the requested extraction and downstream use of the results. Users are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or redistributing them.
Crawler controls and abuse response
Extraktor may identify automated requests as ExtraktorBot, honor robots.txt and host-level blocks, log extraction provenance for abuse prevention, throttle or reject requests, remove stored outputs, suspend workspaces, revoke credentials, or block target hosts when needed for legal, security, reliability, or site-operator concerns.
Billing and credits
Paid extraction usage is billed to the selected workspace or API key. Credits may be consumed when extraction tools run successfully. Some plans, limits, and credit behavior may change as the service evolves.
Availability
Extraktor is provided on an as-available basis. The service may be updated, limited, suspended, or discontinued when needed for reliability, security, legal, or operational reasons.
